The act of making art is still, after many years, the simplest way that I make sense of anything, of everything. Making art distills my participation in this life down to the act of connecting and creating. This feels so good, that I want to keep looking into it. So I paint, and I put things together and I play.

My works are environments that I hope the viewer wants to look into or live with. My work resides happily in some good homes, ones where the owners say that they see something new in them every time they look. That feels excellent.
